| dc.description | This proyect is focused on the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in order to improve productivity in the production line of a metal-mechanic workshop; began by performing a diagnosis of the worm production process, where it was found that 88.89% of the activities need to be supervised. According to the process flow diagram, there are two activities that do not add value, which represent 5.88% of the observed cycle time. The bottlenecks identified in the process determined that 50% of the activities generate unnecessary movements, 20% are transports, 10% are reprocesses, another 10% are waits in the process and the remaining 10% are overprocesses. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto está enfocado en la aplicación de herramientas Lean Manufacturing con el fin de mejorar la productividad en la línea de producción en un taller metalmecánico; inició realizando un diagnóstico al proceso de producción de tornillos sin fin, donde se evidenció que el 88,89% de las actividades requieren ser supervisadas. Según el diagrama de flujo del proceso existen dos actividades que no agregan valor que representan el 5,88% del tiempo del ciclo observado. Los cuellos de botellas identificados en el proceso determinaron que en el 50% de las actividades generan movimientos innecesarios, por otra parte, el 20% son transportes, el 10% son reprocesos, otro 10% son las esperas en el proceso y el restante 10% corresponden sobreprocesos. | |
