| dc.description | The research work had as objectives to characterize beekeeping producers socioeconomically, the perception of beekeepers regarding the promotion of beekeeping activity and the factors that limit beekeeping production in the Quevedo canton, Los Rios province. A survey was carried out on six beekeeping producers using the snowball methodology, which consists of performing a non-probabilistic sampling since the selection of the producers was taken into account based on their annual production. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivos caracterizar socioeconómicamente a los productores apícolas, la percepción de los apicultores con respecto al fomento de la actividad apícola y los factores que limitan la producción apícola en el cantón Quevedo, provincia de Los Ríos. Se realizo encuesta a seis productores apícolas utilizando la metodología bola de nieve que consiste en realizar un muestreo no probabilístico ya que la selección de los productores se tomó en cuenta en base a su producción anual. Los resultados sobre las características socioeconómicas, percepción de los apicultores y los factores que limitan la producción. | |
