| dc.description | This study entitled "Public Administration and its impact on the Digital Government of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of Canton Valencia, Year 2023" focuses on describing the relationship between Public Administration and Digital Government in the context of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of Canton Valencia. The general objective is to describe the impact of the Public Administration in the development and operation of Digital Government in this context. The specific objectives are to identify the existing shortcomings in Digital Government, to investigate the impact of the Public Administration in the development of activities related to Digital Government and to define the degree of digital maturity of the Municipal Government of Canton Valencia through the National Index of Municipal Web Pages. In order to gather information from the institution, research methods such as descriptive, inductive - deductive and statistical methods were used. In the same way, 380 surveys were applied to the population and 3 surveys to officials of the Technology and Information Technology Unit. The results showed that 28% of the population believes that one of the main aspects that the GAD should improve is the training of personnel in order to get closer to the paradigms of digital government, which is why it is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the improvement of public management and promote efficiency, transparency and citizen participation in the Digital Government of the municipality. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio titulado "La Administración Pública y su incidencia en el Gobierno Digital del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Valencia, Año 2023" se enfoca en describir la relación entre la Administración Pública y el Gobierno Digital en el contexto del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Valencia. El objetivo general es describir la incidencia de la Administración Pública en el desarrollo y funcionamiento del Gobierno Digital en dicho contexto. Los objetivos específicos son identificar las falencias existentes en el Gobierno Digital, investigar la incidencia de la Administración Pública en el desarrollo de las actividades relacionadas con el Gobierno Digital y definir el grado de madurez digital del GAD Municipal del Cantón Valencia a través del Índice Nacional de Páginas Web Municipales. Para recabar información de la institución se utilizaron métodos de investigación como el descriptivo, inductivo – deductivo y estadísticos. De la misma manera se aplicaron 380 encuestas a la población y 3 encuestas a funcionarios de la Unidad De Tecnología e Informática. Los resultados dieron a conocer que el 28% de la población opina que uno de los principales aspectos que debe mejorar el GAD es la capacitación al personal para así lograr acercarse a los paradigmas del gobierno digital, es por ello que se espera que los resultados de este estudio contribuyan al mejoramiento de la gestión pública y promuevan la eficiencia, transparencia y participación ciudadana en el Gobierno Digital del municipio | |
