Abstract
El uso de los subproductos agroindustriales y el ensilaje han sido motivo de gran interés para los agricultores y los investigadores de ciencias animales durante décadas debido a su uso potencial en la alimentación animal es por ello que el objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue determinar la composición química del ensilaje de maíz forrajero más adición de mucilago de cacao en diferentes proporciones el cual se realizó en el Campus Experimental “La María” de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ) que constó de 5 tratamientos y 5 repeticiones, donde se evaluó el nivel de inclusión de subproductos agroindustriales de mucílago de cacao más un tratamiento testigo de forraje de maíz con un tiempo de fermentación de 30 días.
Description
The use of agro-industrial by-products and silage have been of great interest to farmers and animal science researchers for decades due to their potential use in animal feed, which is why the objective of this research work was to determine the composition chemistry of forage corn silage plus the addition of cocoa mucilage in different proportions, which was carried out at the "La María" Experimental Campus of the Quevedo State Technical University (UTEQ), which consisted of 5 treatments and 5 repetitions, where the level of inclusion of agro-industrial by-products of cocoa mucilage plus a control treatment of corn forage with a fermentation time of 30 days.
