| dc.description | Currently, companies face the challenge of assimilating constant and strong changes in their environment, which consist of different aspects such as technology, commerce, social environment, economy, and culture. This research was carried out at the metalmechanic workshop "El Maestro," located on Jaime Roldós and 34th Street in Viva Alfaro neighborhood in the Quevedo Canton, which is dedicated to the maintenance and manufacturing of metal-mechanic pieces, with problems mainly based on production time, machine preparation, and cleaning. The research is based on the SMED technique, which is based on reducing lost time for preparation through the Single Minute Exchange Die (SMED) methodology. | |
| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad las empresas enfrentan con mayores intensidades al reto de asimilar los constantes y fuertes cambios en su entorno, los cuales se conforman de diferentes aspectos como es el tecnológico, comercial, el ambiente social, el económico y el cultural. La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en el taller metalmecánico “El Maestro” que está ubicado en las calles Jaime Roldós y 34 ava, barrio Viva Alfaro del cantón Quevedo y que se dedica al mantenimiento y fabricación de piezas metal mecánicas, problemáticas sobre todo en base al tiempo de producción, de preparación de una máquina y su limpieza. La investigación está basada en la técnica SMED, la que se basa en la disminución de los tiempos perdidos por preparación es la metodología SMED (Single Minute Exchange Die - Cambio de matriz en un solo dígito de minuto). | |
