The use of chitosan as an ecological alternative in the management of agricultural productions has recently been studied for its high potential in stimulating growth, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial activity. The research was conducted at the Campus Experimental “La María” de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo. | dc.description.abstract | La lechuga es una de las plantas más consumidas mundialmente, posee propiedades nutricionales incomparables en relación con otras hortalizas. El empleo del quitosano como alternativa ecológica en el manejo de producciones agrícola, últimamente se ha estudiado por su alto potencial en la estimulación del crecimiento, actividad antiviral, antifúngicas y antibacterianas. La investigación se realizó en el Campus Experimental “La María” de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo.
