| dc.description | The investigative work was carried out in the vicinity of the “La María” University Campus, premises of the State Technical University of Quevedo, Canton Mocache, Province of Los Ríos and consisted of evaluating different levels of nitrogen in the accumulation of biomass of the forage corn crop ( Zea mays L.) with high planting density in the rainy season. Four treatments under study were evaluated: T1 (0 kg N/ha), T2 (150 kg N/ha), T3 (200 kg N/ha) and T4 (250 kg N/ha), arranged in a DCA with four observations. The variables evaluated were: fresh biomass (g), dry biomass (g), plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of leaves and cost analysis. | |
| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo investigativo se desarrolló en las inmediaciones del Campus Universitario “La María” predios de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, Cantón Mocache, Provincia de Los Ríos y consistió en evaluar diferentes niveles de nitrógeno en la acumulación de biomasa del cultivo de maíz (Zea mays L.) forrajero de alta densidad de siembra en la época lluviosa. Se evaluaron cuatro tratamientos en estudio: T1 (0 kg N/ha), T2 (150 kg N/ha), T3 (200 kg N/ha) y T4 (250 kg N/ha), dispuestos en un DCA con cuatro observaciones. Las variables evaluadas fueron: biomasa fresca (g), biomasa seca (g), altura de planta (cm) diámetro del tallo (mm), número de hojas y análisis de costos. | |
