| dc.description | This research analyzes cultural management and its impact on local tourism in the GAD Municipal del Cantón La Maná during the year 2023. The study focused on evaluating three fundamental aspects: the level of visitors' perception of cultural events, financial and technological resource management practices, and the degree of community participation in cultural activities. The methodology employed combined quantitative and qualitative approaches, including surveys of visitors and local stakeholders, as well as interviews with the management of the Department of Education and Culture. The results reveal a moderately favorable perception of cultural events, with 47% acceptance and 73% recognition of the representation of local traditions. In terms of resource management, an organized structure was identified that combines the municipal budget with strategic alliances, although with limitations in terms of technological modernization and financial sustainability. Community participation reached 62% of active involvement, showing opportunities for improvement in communication channels and inclusion strategies. The study concludes that there are solid foundations in the cultural management of the canton, but it is necessary to strengthen key aspects such as the quality of events, technological modernization and community participation to effectively promote local tourism. The recommendations point towards the implementation of innovative strategies to guarantee the sustainability of cultural initiatives in the territory. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación analiza la gestión cultural y su incidencia en el turismo local del GAD Municipal del Cantón La Maná durante el año 2023. El estudio se centró en evaluar tres aspectos fundamentales: el nivel de percepción de los visitantes sobre los eventos culturales, las prácticas de gestión de recursos financieros y tecnológicos, y el grado de participación comunitaria en las actividades culturales. La metodología empleada combinó enfoques cuantitativos y cualitativos, incluyendo encuestas a visitantes y actores locales, así como entrevistas al personal directivo del Departamento de Educación y Cultura. Los resultados revelan una percepción moderadamente favorable de los eventos culturales, con un 47% de aceptación y un 73% de reconocimiento a la representación de tradiciones locales. En cuanto a la gestión de recursos, se identificó una estructura organizada que combina presupuesto municipal con alianzas estratégicas, aunque con limitaciones en modernización tecnológica y sostenibilidad financiera. La participación comunitaria alcanza un 62% de involucramiento activo, evidenciando oportunidades de mejora en los canales de comunicación y estrategias de inclusión. El estudio concluye que, existen bases sólidas en la gestión cultural del cantón, pero es necesario fortalecer aspectos clave como la calidad de los eventos, la modernización tecnológica y la participación comunitaria para potenciar efectivamente el turismo local. Las recomendaciones apuntan hacia la implementación de estrategias innovadoras garantizando la sostenibilidad de las iniciativas culturales en el territorio. | |
