| dc.description | Vigorousness is an indicator of quality, which is used in cultivars to obtain plants with optimal weight and height, ensuring production. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the effect of corm vigor on the vegetative multiplication of banana (Musa cavenidish) var seedlings. Williams at the shadow level. A completely randomized design was used with three treatments and five repetitions. The treatments were T1 (Low Vigorousness), T2 (Medium Vigorousness), T3 (High Vigorousness). The results found regarding the variable days to sprouting, T2 and T3, reaching 13.91 and 13.54 days, being statistically superior to T1 with 15.27 days, which emitted the first sprout days later, with respect to the number of sprouts at Vigor 20 days, T3 with 6 sprouts was statistically superior to treatments T1 and T2 with 5 sprouts, at 40 days, T3 with 6 sprouts was superior, although statistically the three treatments were similar. In the variable shoot height at 20 days, T3 with 16 cm was higher, but statistically the three treatments were similar, at 40 days the three treatments presented shoots with similar heights with an average of 5.73 cm to 5.90 cm. Regarding the diameter of shoots at 20 days, T1 was 4.27 cm, at 40 days treatments T2 and T3 presented shoots with heights of 5.65 cm, being higher, but statistically equal to T1. In fresh biomass, T2 with 157.09 g was higher, but statistically the three treatments presented similar weights in the increase in biomass. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La vigorosidad es un indicativo de calidad, la cual se emplea en los cultivares para obtener plantas con peso y alturas óptimas asegurando la producción. La investigación tuvo como fin evaluar el efecto de la vigorosidad del cormo en la multiplicación vegetativa de plántulas de banano (Musa cavenidish) var. Williams a nivel de umbráculo. Se utilizó un diseño de completamente al azar con tres tratamientos y cinco repeticiones. Los tratamientos fueron T1 (Vigorosidad baja), T2 (Vigorosidad media), T3 (Vigorosidad alta). Los resultados encontrados en lo referente a la variable días a la brotación, el T2 y T3, alcanzando 13.91 y 13.54 días, siendo estadísticamente superior al T1 con 15.27 días, el cual emitió el primer brote días después, con respecto al número de brotes a los 20 días el T3 con 6 brotes fue estadísticamente superior a los tratamientos T1 y T2 con 5 brotes, a los 40 días el T3 con 6 brotes fue superior, aunque estadísticamente los tres tratamientos fueron similares. En la variable altura de brote a los 20 días el T3 con 16 cm fue superior, pero estadísticamente los tres tratamientos fueron similares, a los 40 días los tres tratamientos presentaron brotes con alturas similares con un promedio de 5.73 cm a 5.90 cm. Con respecto al diámetro de brotes a los 20 días el T1 con 4.27 cm, a los 40 días los tratamientos T2 y T3 presentaron brotes con alturas de 5.65 cm, siendo superiores, pero estadísticamente son iguales al T1. En la biomasa fresca, el T2 con 157.09 g fue superior, pero estadísticamente los tres tratamientos presentaron pesos similares en el incremento de biomasa. | |
