dc.description	This study aimed to design an emergency plan addressing earthquakes and fires for the Comprehensive Social Assistance Center for Priority Groups (CASIGAP) in La Joya de los Sachas, Ecuador. It began by identifying a clear problem: the absence of a structured plan to address natural and human-caused adverse events, a situation that heightened the vulnerability of staff and visitors.
dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación tuvo como propósito diseñar un plan de emergencia ante sismos e incendios para la institución CASIGAP, ubicada en el cantón La Joya de los Sachas. Se partió de la identificación de una problemática evidente: la carencia de un plan estructurado para afrontar eventos adversos naturales y antrópicos, situación que incrementaba la vulnerabilidad de trabajadores y visitantes.
