| dc.description | The provision of public services and basic attention to the needs of the population by the Government of the Canton Municipal Autonomous Decentralized El Empalme, sufficiently not meet your expectations and requirements, of course it is a situation where levels are at stake social and political responsibility that merit analyzed separately in order to determine the changes or urging critical points of care. One of those services requires further attention is the garbage collection and disposal in the open, a type of service that leaves much to be desired by the impact caused to the environment, natural resources and health of its inhabitants, which justified the development of the present research. The analysis of their problems, provided interesting data and information that helped to objectively know the weaknesses of the collection of garbage, which made it possible to determine the objectives, and propose an alternative solution (hypothesis) the development of a handbook of solid waste. The literature review had sufficient information to date and relevant subject matter. Field research was conducted based on surveys and interviews, a process that yielded the required information about the system of garbage collection, the results were submitted for discussion to establish the incidence of problematic fields in the quality of life of the population and environmental pollution, while allowed to prove the hypothesis. The research process conclusions determined to achieve the objectives, and allowed for the recommendations are considered necessary to improve the current system of garbage collection. Finally, the handbook solid waste management is an instrument of educational information that is designed to inform the population of the village of El Empalme, intended to serve as a bridge to raise the level of commitment of the stakeholders (authorities and population) in the search for solutions to the problem, the same as in greater or lesser extent is everyone's responsibility. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La prestación de servicios públicos y atención a las necesidades básica de la población por parte del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón El Empalme, no satisface de manera suficiente sus expectativas y requerimientos, desde luego que se trata de una situación donde están en juego niveles de responsabilidad social y política que ameritan analizarle por separado, a efecto de determinar los cambios o nudos críticos que urgen de atención. Una de aquellos servicios que requiere de mayor atención, es el de recolección de la basura y su disposición final a cielo abierto; un tipo de servicio que deja mucho que desear por las repercusiones que causa al medio ambiente, a los recursos naturales y la salud de sus habitantes, lo cual justificó la elaboración de la presente. Investigación. El análisis de su problemática, aportó con datos e información interesante que ayudó a conocer de manera objetiva las debilidades del sistema de recolección de la basura, lo cual hizo posible determinar los objetivos, y plantear como alternativa de solución (hipótesis) la elaboración de un Manual de desechos sólidos. La revisión literaria contó con suficiente información actualizada y pertinente del objeto de estudio. La investigación de campo se realizó a base de encuestas y entrevistas, un proceso que arrojó la información requerida en torno al sistema de recolección de la basura, cuyos resultados fueron sometidos a discusión con el fin de establecer la incidencia de sus campos problemáticos en la calidad de vida de la población y en la contaminación del medio ambiente, a la vez que permitió comprobar la hipótesis planteada. Las conclusiones del proceso de investigación determinaron el logro de los objetivos planteados, y permitió realizar las recomendaciones que se consideran necesarias para mejorar el actual sistema de recolección de la basura. Por último, el Manual de manejo de desechos sólidos es un instrumento de información didáctica que ha sido concebido para conocimiento de la población del cantón El Empalme, cuyo fin es servir de nexo para elevar el nivel de compromiso de los actores sociales (Autoridades y la población), en la búsqueda de solución al problema, el mismo que en mayor o menor proporción es responsabilidades de todos. | es_ES |
