| dc.description | The following research project was aimed at developing an interpretive guide for the Municipal Museum of Quevedo canton, Los Ríos province, through which the population will benefit from cultural and educational aspects, promoting teaching and learning about heritage, collecting information that contributes to generate interest in the local population for its culture and the visit of tourists in order to boost the economy of the city. Field visits were carried out thus determining the diagnosis of the current situation of the place, through which the state of conservation in which the archaeological objects are found and their organization in the Museum is observed, through this study it was carried out a survey to determine the level of knowledge that the population has about the Museum and how it contributes to society. Finally, the guide is structured according to the answers obtained in the surveys, providing interest in a creative, attractive and useful way for those who wish to know more about Quevedo archaeological cultural heritage. | dc.description.abstract | El siguiente proyecto de investigación tuvo el objetivo de elaborar una guía interpretativa para el Museo Municipal del cantón Quevedo, provincia de Los Ríos, mediante el cual los ciudadanos se verán beneficiados en los aspectos culturales y educativos, promoviendo la enseñanza y aprendizaje acerca del patrimonio, recolectando información que contribuye a generar interés en la población local por su cultura y la visita de turistas a fin de dinamizar la economía de la ciudad. Se llevó a cabo visitas de campo determinando así el diagnóstico de la situación actual del lugar, por medio del cual se observa el estado de conservación en el que se encuentran las piezas arqueológicas y su organización en el Museo, a través de este estudio se realizó una encuesta para determinar el nivel de conocimiento que posee la población acerca del Museo y como este aporta a la sociedad. Finalmente se diseñó la guía, la cual está estructurada acorde a las respuestas obtenidas en las encuestas, aportando interés de manera creativa, atractiva y útil para quienes deseen conocer más acerca del patrimonio cultural arqueológico de Quevedo.
