Abstract
The development of this Thesis was carried out based on the thesis plan and methodological points delivered by Universidad Technical Stately de Quevedo, Faulted de Derecho. In Chapter I, Introduction a summary of the need for reduced sentences to defendants who testify in trials related to drug trafficking in Ecuador is performed.
Background of the research described in Chapter II, Doctrine, Jurisprudence and legislation making the Constitution as the main source of the Republic of Ecuador, certain international treaties and conventions, and existing domestic laws in the country.
Chapter III takes a brief detail on the implementation of the methodology, the methods used, the field -based surveys of citizens, citizens and lawyers in free practice.
In Chapter IV tabulating surveys citizens and legal professionals developed.
Chapter V consists of conclusions and recommendations.
The proposed amendment to the Criminal Code that allows creating rules to govern the sentence reduction is developed in Chapter VI
