| dc.description | In this project, an egg incubator has been built with a manual mechanism that allows the eggs to be moved at 45°. The construction of a horizontal incubator was carried out because this type of incubator has a simpler, cheaper and easier-to-use design compared to a vertical incubator. Resistant and suitable materials were used, such as wood, steel angles, steel plates, Flex foam, to achieve the necessary temperature and humidity requirements. The mechanism that moves the eggs at 45° works with three locks that place the bases that hold the buckets in three different positions: top, bottom, and middle. When carrying out the functional tests without the eggs, it was observed that the incubator complies with the necessary factors for the development of the eggs, such as a correct temperature and humidity that are controlled through a thermostat. | |
| dc.description.abstract | En el presente proyecto se ha construido una incubadora de huevos con un mecanismo manual que permite mover los huevos a 45°. Se realizó la construcción de una incubadora horizontal debido a que este tipo de incubadoras tienen un diseño más simple, económico y de fácil uso comparado a una incubadora vertical. Se utilizaron materiales resistentes y adecuados, tales como madera, ángulos de acero, platinas de acero, espuma Flex, para lograr cumplir con los requisitos necesarios de temperatura y humedad. El mecanismo que mueve los huevos a 45°, funciona con tres seguros que ubican las bases que sostienen las cubetas en tres diferentes posiciones: Arriba, abajo y medio. Al realizar las pruebas de funcionamiento sin los huevos, se observó que la incubadora cumple con los factores necesarias para el desarrollo de los huevos, tales como una correcta temperatura y humedad que son controlados a través de un termostato. | |
